The main issue with this buyer was wanting a home in a very competitive market segment. They wanted beachside under 450K preferable with a pool. We wrote about 8 offers in multiple offer situations and did not win out in any of those because of our financing contingency. Waiting out the market craziness proved to be a best practice for these buyers. As the summer market cooled they were able to land a home without multiple offers. Sometimes timing the market is essential.
