On the night of the event, guests got to sample the mouth watering charcuterie boards that Ember & Oak is known for, as well as the oozing deliciousness (that’s definitely a word, right?) of the melted cheese from the Raclette wheel. The wine room was the hot spot for all seafood lovers, as the spread included cavier, fresh oysters on the halfshell and delicacies of the crusteacen variety. The wine room also was the place to be if you fancied spirits of the grape variety – with over 48 wines on tap! The night was topped off by the spectacular desserts created by “cooking” using liquid nitrogen. Have you ever had fresh coconut mousse, briskly frozen in a bath of liquid nitrogen, atop a scumptious trio of berries or a gooey flourless chocolate cake? Well, we can tell you – it’s amazing!
Entertainment for the evening went beyond the awe-inspiring food stations. Musical entertainment was provided thanks to the soothing sounds of The Harbor City Trio in the courtyard. Guests were dazzled by Vynn Credible, as he mingled throughout the party doing close-up magic and slight of hand tricks that deligted the crowd. And of course, what is a party without a fire dancer? Yes, that’s right – the graceful Shelby Spunflower danced with her flickering flames throughout the night.
