When the buyers viewed this home for the first time, they knew right away they wanted to make an offer. However, we had just listed the home they needed to sell in East Viera. Part of our strategy was to get that home under contract before submitting any offers. It is hard enough for buyers to compete in this market, especially with a home to sell contingency. So we wanted to at least be under contract on the home that needed to sell.
Within 3 days of listing their home, they were under contract and had a back-up offer on it as well. We then submitted an offer on Grand Cayman with a “home to sell contingency”, beat out other offers, and went under contract.
Although selling and buying simultaneously was not always stress-free, at the end of the day they were able to upgrade to their dream home and they couldn’t be happier!
