𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘: These clients are/were neighbors in my community and reached out to me about 10 months ago after receiving multiple mailers from me regarding neighborhood activity. We talked over the following 2-3 months and sat down at the beginning of the 2024 for an interview. I asked multiple questions regarding their goals, needs, timeline, and what was most important to them in an agent. I discussed how our marketing strategy with open houses, social media, in house marketing, and web presence, along with the power of Compass could help them sell their home. After meeting with multiple agents they let me know that I was a good fit and we got to work. We moved forward with photos and video early spring of 2024 for a Compass Exclusive for one month as they finished their daughter's graduation from a local high school. We went active with open houses, full marketing plan, and had multiple showings each week. We took feedback under advisement and made changes as necessary. The market shifted quickly over the course of the 2 months and I kept them updated weekly regarding the local market and how if affected our pricing/strategy. They were open and we made the adjustments necessary to obtain our first offer. Unfortunately the buyers pulled out early. This could have been disastrous but we had kept in touch with an interested buyer's agent with 2 clients who each brought us better offers than our first contract. After negotiations and assessing timelines we settled on an offer and were able to close in 2.5 weeks. My clients are now able to move forward and close on their new home on time and head to the next stage of their lives. None of this would have been possible without consistent communication, data updates, and consistent follow up with previous showings.
