Meet Kirk

Team Leader

Informed, well-prepared, insanely hardworking, and passionately dedicated, Kirk Kessel is without a doubt one of the most trusted and seasoned agents in the Melbourne area. According to Space Coast Business Magazine, “Kirk continue(s) to stay on top of the industry and remains a top producer in Brevard County.” Kirk has personally been on all sides of real estate transactions – as a real estate agent, investor, adviser and general counsel, as a syndicator and developer.

He founded his own real estate company in 1986 and in 2001 sold it to a local builder and his family. In 2009 Kirk teamed up with Dewayne Clyde Carpenter to work for Century 21 Spectrum fine homes and estates specializing in waterfront and beachside properties. Then in 2015, the Carpenter | Kessel Team moved offices to Dale Sorensen Brevard.

“What I love about the real estate business is that even after 30 years of selling real estate every transaction is different,” Kirk says. “In a very short time, you discover each deal takes on a challenge of its own”.

Kirk is committed to giving back to our local communities. Over the past 30 years, he and his team have participated on several boards and foundations to include, The American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, the Melbourne Area Association of Realtors® Grievance Committee, Ad Astra Florida Tech, and the Board for the Maxx W. Kessel Foundation.

Kirk is a member of the Melbourne Area Board of Realtors® and serves the real estate needs of customers of Melbourne Beach, Indialantic, Indian Harbour Beach, Satellite Beach, Merritt Island, and surrounding communities. Kirk holds three real estate designations, CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager), GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute), and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist).
