Finding a buyer is one thing. Getting a home successfully from “for sale” to “sold” can be something entirely different.
These sellers came to us through a referral from a Realtor in another area whom they trusted. Before recommending anyone, she researched local agents, spoke with several of them, and ultimately felt confident referring her clients to us. We were incredibly appreciative of that vote of confidence.
The sellers had owned the Merritt Island property as a rental for years and had initially tried to sell it themselves. They found a buyer and got the home under contract, but the transaction ultimately did not make it to closing.
Once we understood what they had experienced, we created a plan focused not only on attracting another buyer, but on putting them in the strongest possible position to get all the way to the closing table.
That work began well before the home hit the market. Over the next month, we helped coordinate handyman projects, brought in professional staging, analyzed the competition, identified likely buyers, and developed a comprehensive marketing strategy.
Once the home was ready, we launched the plan, generated numerous showings, held several open houses, monitored buyer feedback, and continued adjusting our strategy as needed.
We found the right buyer, and although older Merritt Island homes can present challenges during a transaction, we were able to help navigate those issues and keep everyone moving toward the same goal.
This time, our sellers did not just get a contract. They got a successful closing less than two months after the home officially entered the market.
Perhaps our favorite part came afterward. These clients found us because a Realtor they trusted took the time to recommend us. After experiencing the process themselves, they have already referred us to a neighbor who is planning to sell next year.
